Ahh... New York, with me basking in the post-911 golobal warming summertime sun made for this inpired exhausing shot. At the top of this month I went back east just to get away from the special brand of monotony of the city where I reside ,LA.

My trip this time was much different though. I've been to NYC several times and even lived in Bay Ridge Brooklyn for a time. The pace was understandably different. Below is a picture I took on the same city block just a few months before 911.

The SHRINE TO DEATH, b.k.a Ground Zero was the low point of my trip- not only because of what I saw but becuase of what I felt. Like a woman who has been raped and forced to face here attacker daily, Ground Zero is a wound at a nexus point in NYC that needs to be healed and closed.

I was forced to search for pizza by the slice and not the pie, and take the train to get a tattoo at Kingdom tattoos in Greenwhich only a mother could love It will be nearly 10 years this next coming September since 911, and I didn't even witness a foundation being laid for whatever ingenious monument will be erected on this site. What I did witness was a cantankerous peddler selling his Kinko's crafted memorbilia entitled "Remember the Tragedy"....as if we can forget! Before making my way back on to the blistering C-train from Chambers Avenue (my last name) I made a point to let this guy know he was making money off of death and his karma card would be properly charged. Policemen were notably more friendly I notice, the shopping in the area also took a great dive as well, making the trip highly uncharisteristic of my past stints in the Big Apple. Ground Zero is a worm in the Big Apple that needs to be salted STAT!

Pushing this next log out- no pun intended- I am still apprehensive about the blog thing, but a bomb could hit tomorrow and at least I sealed my energy in the stars .....THE PREGNANT "MAN"

My father told me for years that a penis does not make a man and that has never been more true than in this age of sexual reassignment-- as if the first assignment was "completed". Open-minded I am but laced with a bit of being old-fashioned is a good buoy in this anything goes society.

Thomas Beatie is beating a new path though with this whole "I am a pregnant man" schtick. Equally cursed by God or evolution depending on your school of thought, women and men have enough to deal with on their parts of the play ground without people going all willy nilly wanting to ride the swings, get on the monkey bars, throw sand, and still demand a snack before its snack time. LOL Alright a bit much but you get my point. Adult decisions aside lets be factual. Thomas Beatie IS NOT A MAN. Thomas is a transgender who got everthing removed but the indoor plumbing. Now while Thomas and partner were twiddling with that plumbing on purpose vioula out came a water droplet..eh hem...once again proving that Thomas is not a man, and a penis doth not a man make.

My frustration with this is its being termed as a "pregnant man" when Thomas chose not to remove the very organ primed for conception and birth ....A UTERUS! The news is really fallin back on thier hamhocks with this. I saw this spectacle on Oprah today and she's already had enough trouble with book club situations this is not a step in the right direction. If Thomas were supposed to be a man why not get a penis bro? It makes no sense so basically this story which made me initially think there had been some huge leap in science turned out to be a woman on hormones and some sergically removed breast getting pregnant, this is news in the middle of what we all know is a government-denied recession. Holla back at when A BOY BORN with a penis GOWN NATURALLY into a uncloned man naturally has a baby. Ahh matter fact, don't holla if u hear of that hopefully by then the Rapture will have occured and and I will have left the earth because we truly will have crossed the line.

more free time, a tornado of presidential interviews, school shooting sex scandals, and every rapper becoming an actor LOL I decided to throw my hat into the cyberring of life. So what in the blog is THIS blog for? a reawakening of spirit.............. advice, current event discussions, but from a new perspective, I love a passionate debate ultimately b/c I love being convinced other than what I believe, or being presented with a new valid perspective at least. It is truly the cornerstone of free thought ....even our own incessant internal debates. Sex and Politics are of course on the menu b/c they are so taboo in America yet intrinsically effect all of our lives, but lets be mature about it folks. The language will range from high brow to urban. Its important we know how to network with each other's internal computers and language/lingo is the the currency of our connectivity. All ages are welcome of course but the impetus of this blog is that enough mortals, humans, beings (pick ur moniker) that I know don't talk about much else except what they want, what they have ,or who they have, and the actual FIBER of our network of thoughts is deteriorating regarding the issues everday and global that will shape or best and remaining years. 911 should have shown us that. Entertainment and pop culture I love so let it bleed into this but fagetaboutit if you're thinking of posting comments tracking the wherabouts of tween celebrities and who's taking what drugs....UNLESS you can somehow extract a new species of wisdom from that madness that can benefit a paticular person who writes in with a pending problem. I'll rap to yall about Obama Drama cuz Im about to have an aneurysm from the N E W S F L A S H that America is vastly retarded in the area of race relations given how evolved and exalted (ah...yeah) we are among nations. Obama should have addressed the issue and left the rest to simply be the world of his preacher -ANOTHER MAN. That'll be the day when I would endure having to publicly vouch for another public figure's words. Oh I forgot Jerimiah the preacher and Obama were surgically separated at birth so naturally whatever one says must be the exact mirror image of the other words feelings and emotions.
